Called "Royal Python" in Europe, and "Ball Python" in the United States due to their habit of rolling into a ball with their head tucked in the middle to defend themselves
Predators
Even fully-grown adults can be preyed upon or injured by wild pigs, wart hogs and leopards. Youngs are vulnerable to many predators, including birds of prey and hedgehogs
